Palo Alto AYSO 2008 U16G Spring Select Team Volunteer Positions
Listed below are the main volunteer responsibilities for the 2008 U16G
Spring Select Team.

- Referee (2-3) - Minimum
certification required: AYSO "Regional" or current USSF
Grade 8 (AYSO "Intermediate" or higher desirable). Act as Referee or
Assistant Referee at the Concord and Davis tournaments and in Pacific
Coast Spring
Soccer League games. (Our
team's acceptance to tournaments is dependent upon our
ability to supply qualified referees.)
- Treasurer - Collect
fees
from families at the beginning of the
season; write checks and keep records of team
expenses
- Uniform Coordinator -
Collect
uniform orders from
players at the beginning of the season; place orders with
recommended
suppliers; distribute uniforms to players
- Snack Coordinator -
Create
snack schedule for games and tournaments;
send email reminders to families before their assigned games
- Hotel Coordinator -
Distribute
information about tournament hotel
to team families; act as liaison between families and hotel; (families
call individually and make
confirmed reservations from the team's pre-reserved block of rooms;
families
pay for their rooms individually)
- Team Photographer - Take
photographs at games and make the images available to players and
parents
- Goal Nets - Put up and
take down
goal nets and corner flags before and after Spring League home games
- Field Lining (2) - Paint
lines on
soccer fields
